Toshiba Satellite L675D-S7104 review and drivers :

2011 begins with launch of new processors and laptops. Toshiba came up with new Toshiba satellite L675D-S7104 laptop where latest AMD Turion II P560 dual core processor is installed. The frequency of the processor is 2.5GHz. Satellite L675D-S7104 has big display which is of 17.3 inches and top of it, it is cost effective laptop. The laptop is available within price range of $530-650$ at stores. Here are the details of Toshiba satellite L675D-S7104.

Processor- Satellite L675D-S7104 equipped with AMD Turion II P560 processor which is a dual core processor and it is advanced version of Turion P540. It has 2MB of L2 cache and operates with 2.5GHz frequency. Unlike Intel core i3-380M it doesn’t comprises of Hyperthreading technology, where each core process 2 threads at the same time; Also i3-380M comprises of 3MB of L3 cache. So user will find lag in performance of Turion II P560 when it is compared with core i3-380M. However, it is almost equivalent to Intel Pentium P6200. Aside from regular tasks, it helps processing moderate multimedia requests as well.

Graphics- Toshiba L675D-S7104 comes with ATI mobility Radeon HD 4250 graphics. If you look carefully, you will find most of latest dual core AMD laptops are integrated with ATI mobility Radeon HD 4250 graphics which utilizes 256MB-1917MB system memory dynamically. Though it is onboard graphics but it is revolutionary graphics. It allows user to view HD video, it supports multiple display. There is integrated webcam and microphone that is integrated in LCD bezel and the laptop equipped with integrated DVD-SuperMulti drive.

When comes to ports, there is 2 USB 2.0 ports, one USB/eSATA combo port, HDMI output and multi- in one media card reader available with the laptop.

The networking connectivity supported by Fast Ethernet LAN and wireless connectivity is supported by 802.11 b/g/n WLAN. There is no Bluetooth compatibility

When comes to audio, there is Dolby advanced Audio and integrated speaker for sound.

Toshiba laptop L675D-S7104 provides 3-4 hours of battery life.

Toshiba L675D-S7104 outfitted with Helios grey chassis with fusion finish, the keyboard comprises of dedicated numeric keypad. Touchpad has on and off button. So if you are facing difficulties with touchpad you can off it and use mouse. The touchpad offer multi-touch control.
